Week one down - however many more needed to go!
After starting Weight Watchers with my best friends, Kristine and Jill (we had all done this before and they did a fantastic job keeping their weight under control) I was able to lose 2 pounds my first week. I have to say I didn't do a very good job on the WW since I wasn't completely organized and ready but I did watch my food intake more carefully. Also, I recently (within the last 2 weeks) drastically cut my intake of diet soda. I was drinking around 5-6 cans of Diet Coke a day for as long as I can remember, and recently had some major intestinal issues. I now only drink diet soda when I am away from home and try to drink mostly water at home. I am sure that is somehow playing a part in my weight loss, I just hope I will continue to get the weight off. I also started working out with a kettlebell and am doing a short/intense 5 minute circuit workout to start off with. I will need to add more excercises eventually, but hey - ya gotta start somewhere!
